Offense saves the day

The Cyclones saw the ball well today in their single game matchup with Morton College, winning 8-5.

Although the Panthers held a brief lead, the Cyclones tied things at four on an RBI from Kyel Alexander (1-for-4, 1 RBI, two runs). They took the lead for good in the fifth inning when Gilbert Jaime-Baez (1-for-2, 1 RBI, two runs) scored. A three-run seventh inning led by Jaime-Baez and William Curtis (2-for-5, 2 RBIs) helped solidify the victory. Michael Dudek earned the win, allowing no runs on two hits and striking out one. Ryan Czajowski earned the save.
